LinSCP

Native Linux build

WinSCP. For Linux.

SFTP, SCP, FTP, FTPS, WebDAV, S3 — with the saved sessions, dual-pane file manager, queue, and synchronize that you already know. No PuTTY, no FileZilla, no compromise.

Familiar by design

LinSCP is a 1:1 port of WinSCP's UX — every shortcut, every dialog, every transfer setting. If you know WinSCP, you already know LinSCP.

Dual-pane file manager

Local on the left, remote on the right. Drag, drop, F5 to refresh, F6 to rename, Tab to switch — the keymap you've used for fifteen years.

Saved sessions

Auto-imports your existing WinSCP session list, hostnames, and (with consent) saved passwords from a .reg export.

Background queue

Transfers run in the background. Pause, resume, reorder. Failures retry. Limits per-session.

Synchronize directories

Mirror, upload-only, download-only, or two-way. Preview before commit. Dry-run flag for safety.

Bookmarks

Pin remote paths. Open a session, double-click a bookmark, you're there.

Open-source

GPLv3, mirror of the upstream WinSCP license. Source on GitHub. Build it yourself if you want.

Protocols supported

Everything WinSCP talks to — and runs cleanly on every major desktop distro.
